Question 1

How long do semi-permanent brows last?

Accepted Answer

Our signature brow treatments typically last 12-18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare routine. We provide a complimentary touch-up within 5-8 weeks to ensure perfect results.

Question 2

Is the treatment painful?

Accepted Answer

Your comfort is our priority. We use premium numbing creams to keep the experience comfortable, and most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain.

Question 3

What’s the healing process like?

Accepted Answer

Healing varies by treatment but generally takes 7-10 days. Initial colour appears darker and bolder, then lightens as healing progresses. We provide an aftercare kit and detailed instructions to ensure optimal results.

Question 4

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Appointments are booked directly on our website through the booking page. Select your preferred service, date, and time, and you’ll receive an immediate confirmation followed by a reminder as your appointment approaches.

Question 5

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We understand that plans change. We request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less notice may incur a 50% charge of your service fee to cover the reserved time. No-shows without notice are subject to the full service fee.

Question 6

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Accepted Answer

Our premium eyelash extensions typically last for the full growth cycle of your natural lashes, about 6-8 weeks. To maintain a full look, we recommend touch-ups every 2-3 weeks as natural lashes shed and are replaced.

Question 7

Do I need a patch test before my treatment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for most colour treatments including brows, lashes, and lips, we require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. This quick procedure helps ensure you won’t have an adverse reaction to any of the products used.

Question 8

What makes FaceFrame Beauty different from other salons?

Accepted Answer

FaceFrame Beauty was founded by Iggy, who trained with elite artists across Europe and has perfected her craft for over a decade. Every treatment is approached with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on enhancing natural beauty rather than masking it. We use exclusively premium products and maintain the highest standards of both skill and hygiene.

Question 9

What is the Million Dollar Facial and what are its benefits?

Accepted Answer

The Million Dollar Facial is our signature treatment that combines multiple techniques including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, dermaplaning, and custom serums. Benefits include improved skin texture, reduced fine lines, enhanced product absorption, and a radiant complexion that lasts for weeks.

Question 10

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

For most treatments, arrive with clean skin free of makeup. Avoid caffeine and alcohol before your appointment, as they can increase sensitivity. For semi-permanent makeup, avoid blood thinners like aspirin for 48 hours prior (if medically safe to do so). Specific preparation instructions will be provided when you book your service.

Question 11

What’s the difference between microblading, ombré, and combination brows?

Accepted Answer

Microblading creates fine, hair-like strokes using a manual blade technique for a natural look. Ombré brows use a digital machine to create a soft, shaded effect from light to dark, similar to makeup. Combination brows blend both techniques - hair strokes at the front with shading through the body and tail for a fuller, more defined appearance.

Question 12

How often do I need colour boost treatments?

Accepted Answer

Colour boost frequency depends on how long you’ve had your semi-permanent makeup. For treatments up to 6 months old, we recommend every 6-9 months. For older treatments, annual colour boosts help maintain vibrancy. Individual factors like skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure affect fading rates.

Question 13

Can semi-permanent makeup be removed if I’m not happy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer saline tattoo removal for semi-permanent makeup. This gentle method uses a saline solution to lift pigment from the skin naturally. Multiple sessions may be required for complete removal, and we offer package deals for 3 or 6 sessions. A consultation is required before booking removal treatments.

Question 14

What’s included in the semi-permanent brow treatment price?

Accepted Answer

Our comprehensive brow treatments include: free consultation and patch test, the initial procedure, a touch-up appointment within 5-8 weeks, an aftercare kit, and a complimentary brow wax. This ensures you achieve the perfect results and proper healing.

Question 15

Do I need to avoid certain activities before my SPMU treatment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin for 48 hours if medically safe, limit alcohol and caffeine, and avoid sun exposure or tanning. Don’t wax or tint your brows for a week before treatment. We’ll provide a complete preparation guide when you book your consultation.

Question 16

What’s the difference between classic, hybrid, and volume lash extensions?

Accepted Answer

Classic extensions apply one extension per natural lash for a natural, mascara-like effect. Hybrid combines classic and volume techniques for fuller coverage. Volume extensions use multiple ultra-fine lashes per natural lash, creating dramatic fullness and glamour. We’ll help you choose based on your natural lashes and desired look.

Question 17

How often should I get lash extension infills?

Accepted Answer

We recommend infills every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness as your natural lashes shed. The exact timing depends on your natural lash growth cycle, aftercare routine, and lifestyle. Regular infills ensure your extensions always look fresh and full.

Question 18

Should I choose a lash lift or lash extensions?

Accepted Answer

Lash lifts enhance your natural lashes with a curl and tint, lasting 6-8 weeks with minimal maintenance. Extensions add length and volume but require regular infills every 2-3 weeks. Choose a lift for low-maintenance enhancement or extensions for dramatic transformation and customisable looks.

Question 19

How do I care for my lash extensions at home?

Accepted Answer

Keep lashes dry for 24 hours after application, then gently cleanse daily with lash-safe products. Avoid oil-based makeup removers, excessive rubbing, and sleeping face-down. Use a spoolie brush to keep them neat and avoid waterproof mascara. We provide detailed aftercare instructions.

Question 20

How long do eyebrow and lash tints last?

Accepted Answer

Eyebrow tints typically last 4-6 weeks, while lash tints last 6-8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and skincare routine. Oil-based products and frequent cleansing can cause tints to fade faster. We use premium tints for longer-lasting, natural-looking results.

Question 21

How do I choose the right facial for my skin type?

Accepted Answer

Our deep cleansing facial is perfect for congested or oily skin, while dermaplaning suits dry, dull complexions. The Million Dollar Facial addresses ageing concerns and combines multiple techniques. For sensitive skin, try our pregnancy-safe facial. We’ll assess your skin during consultation to recommend the best treatment.

Question 22

What makes the Million Dollar Facial special?

Accepted Answer

Our signature Million Dollar Facial combines dermaplaning, microneedling, and lymphatic drainage in a unique 10-step protocol. It targets multiple concerns - pigmentation, fine lines, scarring, and dullness - in one comprehensive treatment. The combination of techniques delivers superior results compared to individual treatments.

Question 23

What’s the difference between dermaplaning and microneedling?

Accepted Answer

Dermaplaning manually exfoliates using a surgical blade to remove dead skin and peach fuzz, creating smooth, glowing skin. Microneedling uses tiny needles to stimulate collagen production, targeting scarring, pore size, and fine lines. Both can be combined for enhanced results in our Million Dollar Facial.

Question 24

How often should I get facials?

Accepted Answer

For optimal skin health, we recommend monthly facials. However, frequency depends on your skin type and concerns. Problem skin may benefit from bi-weekly treatments initially, while maintenance clients might prefer every 6-8 weeks. We’ll create a personalised treatment plan during your consultation.

Question 25

How far in advance should I book my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance, especially for semi-permanent makeup treatments that require consultations. Popular appointment times (evenings and weekends) fill up quickly. For urgent treatments or last-minute availability, please email or message us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Question 26

Do you require a deposit for bookings?

Accepted Answer

Where a deposit applies, it is taken when you book and deducted from your final treatment cost. This secures your appointment and helps us manage the schedule fairly for every client.

Question 27

What should I bring to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

You only need to bring yourself — we provide everything needed for your treatment, including aftercare products. For semi-permanent makeup, bring inspiration photos if you have them. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid tight collars for lash treatments. Leave valuables at home for your peace of mind.

Question 28

Can I book multiple treatments together?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many treatments can be combined in one visit for convenience. Popular combinations include lash and brow tinting, or adding dermaplaning to facials. However, some treatments like semi-permanent makeup require separate appointments for healing. We’ll advise on the best scheduling during consultation.

Question 29

What can I expect during my first visit?

Accepted Answer

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive consultation to understand your goals and assess your suitability for treatment. We’ll explain the process, discuss expectations, and may perform a patch test if required. You’ll receive aftercare instructions and can ask any questions. We want you to feel completely comfortable and informed.

Question 30

Are there age restrictions for treatments?

Accepted Answer

Clients must be 18+ for semi-permanent makeup treatments. For other services like facials and lashes, we welcome clients 16+ with parental consent. We assess each case individually, considering skin maturity and treatment appropriateness. Parent or guardian presence may be required for under-18 treatments.

Question 31

What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?

Accepted Answer

We perform patch tests 48 hours before colour treatments to check for reactions. Please inform us of any known allergies or skin sensitivities when booking. We use hypoallergenic, premium products and can modify treatments for sensitive skin. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
